制作过程与自我发现:
  • 秉持意念,随性而为;让潜意识带领,量力而为。
  • 虚与实的对比将强化主题,突现内容。
  • 了解手上的素材,温柔以待。
  • 立体思维而不平面思考。
  • 专注时,强烈感觉自己一呼一吸的起伏变化。过程是心、意念、躯体和孤独的对话时间。成品是对话的结果。
  • 作品是安静的,所以更需要赋予流动的肌理,突出最有生命力/爆发力的时间切片和内在情感。

功课一 : 小故事 : Constant Constipation :(

小故事还是没有 structure, characters and plot. just a few randomly floating thoughts..

it started with me being captivated by an atas old school suitcase with a mirror in it. (come to think of it, who would go travel with a suitcase that has got an attached mirror? haha..) that was when i decided that i WANT a mirror in my suitcase! oh, did i forget to mention that my suitcase has to be the old school kind too? :P

then it went a little wilder. maybe i can have changable backdrops in my suitcase too.

then it all fall into place. it's a travel theatre, a theatre that travels, with all my phantasies contained in a Doraemon-ish suitcase.

but still, no structure, no characters and no plot.

though i kept thinking about dancing in front of the mirror.. different dances, different ages but all in front of that mirror, in a place where i would call 孤獨 Happy Bus :)

Trigger Happy : 孤獨 Happy Bus

Tonight, I decided to take a bus home instead.

As I sat on the bus, my mind started drifting in and out of the two worlds like a wandering soul.

Sitting on that ever-so familiar bus, I suddenly realised that it was actually a very good place for solitude. The fogged up glass seemed to cut off all contacts with the outside world and added a sense of mystery to the orange glow beyond.

Solitude is being able to drift off to a world of my own while sitting at the back of a double-decker bus filled with people.

I noticed the people just like the way I could feel the cold air seeping through my body. They are there, but never intruding. All of a sudden, the upper deck of the bus seemed to have expanded beyond the fogged up glass. It was never clear if the mystical orange glow was really on the outside or part of this vast space. For a moment, the two worlds seemed to have merged into a single, harmonious whole.

Even the TV mobile kept its presence to a minimal level. It was heard. But never intrusive.

Solitude is listening to Chen Qizhen’s songs while watching kids fall flat on their faces.

Solitude is sitting on a two-seater thinking where all these thinking is going to lead me to. Of course, it did not take me long to realize how small the seats on the bus are. It is strange how it did not feel that small when you sat beside me. Perhaps when two people get together, less space is needed?

As my mind pondered on that, my eyes found other things to keep them entertained. I found myself observing the shoes and legs of the people on the bus, trying to make out what kind of a person he or she would be.

Solitude is to be able to co-exist in the same space without existing at the same time. (You are there but you are not there and seriously, I do not really mind you being there. For my mind is elsewhere and that the two worlds are not really that disparate after all.)

As I approached my destination, the fogged up glass began to clear.

As I approached my stop, the fog in my mind began to clear too.

I miss those late night bus rides home.

I miss setting my mind on an aimless wander amidst the orange lights.

Most of all, I miss having the cold, cold air cleanse my troubled soul.

I am so glad I decided to take a bus home tonight.

无名氏交轨课(一)

行走
行走,行行走走,停停顿顿,一站过一站,一处过一处,翻山越岭,千山万水,日月星辰,披荆斩棘,风景擦身而过,堆积新的记忆,整理旧的记忆,浓缩的生命旅程,时而来不及回望、时而来不及沉淀、时而漫无目的、时而亢奋不已,警觉心,神经质,看而不见;听而不闻,适应和调整,主题的堆砌和寻找,探访对的感动、期待边缘情境和艳遇,官能放大,和时间赛跑,一再比对手上的手册和地图,火车、飞机、地下铁、长途巴士、顺风车,看不懂自己当下纪录的心情文字,想不通自己关键的理由,会跟着人潮游走;又或刻意偏离众人的轨迹,拒绝当一个市侩的旅者,暗藏偷窥的心态,过客;时而过站不停,可以不负责任而任性于一种选择,自我陶醉于自己编织的风景线路,闯入者迷路、问路、找方向,定点设定;座标移动,立体阅读,贪婪,恋物,小心奕奕,认识陌生地域的方法:超市、酒馆、小巷摊位,走进不知道内容的空间(乱闯),比手画脚,对朦胧的光线非常敏感,在天台看脚下的过往人潮,远眺、俯瞰;越远越好,登高;越高越好,超宁静;但不忽略近身处,寂寞的旅馆,越久越老的东西越喜欢;越诡异突兀的比对更欢喜,建立自己的背包天涯方式;然后自我颠覆,偶尔宠宠自己,迷恋大自然里最纯粹的颜色,他乡遇同乡的温暖,寻找风景明信片般的画面定点,异立独行地装扮自己;但又希望可以低调地融入而不被发现,大量的微笑,不断的自问自答,忍忍忍着购买的欲望,感官直觉而率性,花大量的时间做无,发现和编织小故事;自编自导自演,人生常态的放大,停下来时会有流动或停歇的记忆……待续……


偶,人,禺,愚,愚人,双,无单,不孤独,偶然发生,不期而遇,相同的理念,并排,综合,融合,圆满,完整,非人,另一个世界,物的有机,活了起来,一种想法,一种延伸,对望,对话,对谈,双双对对,表演欲望,情结,精准的技法,语汇的创造,抽象化的具体形式,诗意的切入;具体的建构,建立于形式基础之上,死亡,礼赞,意识,仪式,非自然衍生,寄物于情,寄情于物,转换的角度,放大/放慢/凝住生命片刻,夸张化,形象化,颠覆性,投射堆积,化繁为简;化繁为简,抽离以更接近,让看官投入自己的感觉,不矫情,呼吸,眼神,建议性的画面堆砌,偶者的专著和关爱,温柔的接触,无中生有,另类的思考模式,契机的始末……

剧场,思考/整合/表达/筑梦的空间,反映人生滋味,赌性的艺术形式,多元对立融合的过程,非公式化的方法论,关照,互动,意念、思绪漂移,流浪的旅程,跳脱生命中的乏味可陈、无休止的重复,抓起又放下,放下又抓起,用另一种方式记录生命,留住人、空间、时间和记忆,游离于现实与幻象之间,铸镕个人的识别标签;整顿众人的时代意义,然后自行颠覆或毁灭,一种生存的借口,一种生活的选择……
